“Sweet Emotion” considers the relationship between tenderness and intensity. A luminous pink form emerges from layers of burgundy, red and black, creating a shifting balance between softness and weight. The work holds an emotional tension without resolving it, something delicate at the centre, surrounded by a darker, more turbulent field.
