“Until It Sleeps” considers the tension between restraint and intensity. Muted layers of mauve, grey and burgundy are interrupted by fields of orange and red, creating a shifting balance between weight and release. The painting remains suspended between agitation and calm, suggesting that even in stillness, something continues to move beneath the surface.
